Identity & Heritage
The revered founder and spiritual guardian of the Supreme Institute of Spirituality and the Madrasah of Al-Qur’an Education in Lahore, Pir Tariqat Hazrat Maulana Hafiz and Qari Muhammad Usman Chishti, is affiliated with the esteemed spiritual lineages of Chishti, Qadri, Naqshbandi, Suhrwardi, Shazli, and Rifai.
Early Life and Education
Born in July 1981 in Lahore, he embarked on his educational journey at a private school within his local community. His dedication to Islamic teachings led him to memorize the Holy Quran by 1995, at the Madrasa Quranic Institute on Main Boulevard Defense, Lahore Cantt. Excelling in his academic pursuits, he achieved high honors in his matriculation from Lahore Cantt in 1997.
Service to the Holy Quran:
Post-matriculation, he devoted considerable time to the service and study of the Holy Quran, reflecting his commitment to his faith
Pursuing higher religious education, he completed the Dars-e-Nizami course—a structured program of Islamic studies—at a private institution in Model Town. His scholarship in the presence of leading intellectuals of the time was a testament to his scholarly pursuits.
His inherent inclination towards the spiritual occult sciences prompted him to serve various teachers, spending his holidays at their retreats, aiding the ailing, and learning mystical methods and sciences. Despite his earnest endeavors and the investment of substantial time and resources, he confronted the challenge of finding a mentor to guide him through the deeper spiritual practices, encapsulating the essence of the adage that true gems of wisdom are not easily found.
The narrative recounts a period of trials, where despite his expertise in spiritual sciences and as a Hafiz of the Quran, he faced worsening domestic circumstances, including severe financial distress. Attempts to sell his house were unsuccessful, and he discerned the presence of jinns, which were incompatible with him, causing great difficulty.
During a particularly harrowing night, when his son went to bed hungry and in tears, he spent the night in prayer and supplication. The subsequent advice from his teacher was a turning point, urging self-reliance and personal resolution of issues, with a promise of divine assistance for a swift and lasting resolution.
Following his teacher’s guidance, he undertook the spiritual practice of Chahal Kaaf, after which he witnessed a notable improvement in his circumstances. The process also revealed to him those who had previously wished him harm.

Under the mentorship of his esteemed teacher, he performed many spiritual acts, leading to his growth in the field of spiritual practice. In due course, he sought further guidance due to Sharia reasons and continued his spiritual endeavours under another teacher, engaging in extensive retreats and practices in graveyards, shrines, deserts, and his own home. His dedication culminated in receiving the honour of being aligned with Hazrat Aqdas Imam Al-Auliya Makhdoom al-Taqiya Shaykh Kamil Pir Tariqat Rehbar Shariat Muhammad Shakeel Akhtar Sahib Damat Barakatham of Peshawar, from whom he received the mantle of Khilafat (caliphate).
